The Department's new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is now live as of March 31, 2013. The MMIS is the Department’s primary system for administering and managing costs for the New Hampshire Medicaid program. It is a highly advanced system that will process more than $900 million in payments annually to more than 10,000 enrolled Medicaid providers and hospitals on behalf of New Hampshire Medicaid beneficiaries. On a daily basis the system will process approximately 50,000 claims for New Hampshire residents, ensuring claims are processed and paid accurately and in a timely manner.

MMIS Transition and Contingency Payments
DHHS is planning two types of Medicaid payments, transition and contingency, during the implementation of the new Medicaid Management Information System.
