Public Information Office
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Public Information Office (PIO) is the centralized resource for direct and immediate access to information about DHHS. The PIO is responsible for keeping residents informed about DHHS initiatives, public health issues and current events. The PIO does this through various methods, including, issuing news releases, coordinating press conferences, preparing electronic and printed newsletters, brochures, pamphlets and posters. The PIO assists in preparing outreach plans that detail how the Department will handle communications during public health emergencies. The PIO also oversees internal communication efforts and activities.
