157 TERMINATION OF ASSISTANCE (AAM)

Terminate assistance for individuals who no longer meet the eligibility requirements for the type of assistance they are receiving. If the individual may be eligible for another category of assistance administered by DFA, determine eligibility for that assistance. and advise the individual.

Document all decisions to terminate assistance.

If the individual no longer meets disability or blindness requirements, the Medicaid Administration Bureau (MAB) is responsible for determining eligibility.
