159 TERMINATION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (AAM)

Cases that are closing should only receive payments due prior to the expiration of the advance notice period (ANP).

If the individual receives financial and medical assistance and financial assistance is terminating, determine if the individual will continue to be eligible for medical assistance:

• If the individual is eligible as categorically needy or medically needy, continue medical assistance at the appropriate level.

• If the individual is not eligible, terminate medical assistance.
