305.13 Qualified Aliens with Restricted Eligibility Based on Date of Entry into the U.S. (AAM)

__________________________________________________________________

The following qualified aliens are EITHER:

·         Eligible - if residing in the U.S. on or before 8/22/96; OR

·         Ineligible - for 5 years from date of entry into the U.S., when such entry as noted below occurred on or after 8/23/96:

-       lawfully admitted permanent residents regardless of work history;

-       conditional entrants;

-       parolees; and

-       victims of battering or extreme cruelty.

All of the above may be eligible after the 5 year period if all other eligibility criteria are met.
