Child Development Clinic Network
Description

This Request for Applications (RFA) is published to solicit applications for the provision of pediatric diagnostic evaluation and assessment services through child development clinics, statewide, for children from birth through six (6) years of age who are suspected of or at-risk for, altered or delayed developmental progress.

The Department is seeking a Vendor who has the demonstrated knowledge, experience and ability to:

  • Increase access to current diagnostic services for Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) whose access to appropriate care is hindered by economic, cultural, linguistic, or other social/structural barriers;
  • Increase the participation of families with CSHCN in planning and delivery of services in all programmatic areas, including the assessment of consumer satisfaction;
  • Enhance the ability of established organizations working with communities to provide quality health care and family support to CSHCN;
  • Enhance effective developmental promotion and early detection activities for all children and families through educating and motivating providers to conduct systematic surveillance and screening of young children; and
  • Coordinate activities, in cooperation with the Department, Steering Committee and stakeholders of the state’s developmental screening system, Watch Me Grow.
