Group of peopleOn March 22, 2017 the Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS) and Community Services Network Incorporated (CSNI) hosted The Intensive Treatment Services (ITS) Summit. This was an opportunity for interested stakeholders from around New Hampshire to come together to discuss the planning and implementation of ITS services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or an acquired brain disorder.

The group at the Summit discussed the status of the current system and what can be done to build a continuum of care that meets the needs of people who require ITS services. Action steps and workgroups were developed from this Summit.

The purpose of the ITS workgroups is to conduct research and identify solutions as a continuation of the ITS Summit discussion. The workgroups will review the work that has been done in NH, where we are now, and where we want to be. The workgroups should take the information discussed at the Summit and conduct further research and determine next steps, recommendations and/or solutions that will move the state of NH closer to the goal of developing a robust continuum of care for people in need of ITS program options.

At the six month mark, the workgroups will return to the second NH ITS Summit and a representative will present to the large group on the work that has been completed.
