If you are experiencing a housing crisis, call NH 2-1-1, or contact your local city or town welfare office. To find your local office, go to the NH Municipal Association web site and choose “Municipal Directory” from the Resource menu. Contact your town or city welfare for information on Legal aid.

Point In Time logoJanuary 14, 2019

The 2019 Point In Time (PIT) count will take place on Wednesday January 23, 2019

The PIT count will be conducted to identify persons experiencing homelessness in New Hampshire. The Bureau of Housing Supports (BHS) together with service and community providers, which serve homeless individuals and families, will report the number of sheltered and unsheltered persons for a 24-hour period.

An accurate, unduplicated count is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

If you serve individuals within the Balance of State or anywhere outside of Manchester or Greater Nashua, please send questions and completed surveys to by February 11, 2019.
