The New Hampshire Hospital Volunteer Program has been providing over 50 years of service by special people who devote their time, talents and energy in many different ways. They contribute to the continued success of New Hampshire Hospital's mission. Many of our volunteers work to support patient care by supplementing the needs of staff and enhancing existing programs/activities for our patients. Some of these volunteer opportunities include Pet Therapy, clerical support, library services support and special presentations that enrich the lives of our patients.

Those interested in volunteering, or if you have a particular skill or presentation that you think patients would enjoy or benefit from, please contact the Volunteer Office at (603) 271-5788, to arrange a meeting with the Supervisor of Volunteer Services. The Office is staffed from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Volunteer opportunities are available for those over 18.

All volunteers must complete criminal background checks prior to becoming a volunteer. For your ease, the three necessary forms are provided below. You may print and complete these and bring them when you meet with the Supervisor of Volunteer Services. Notary services are available free of charge at New Hampshire Hospital.

When you become a volunteer for New Hampshire Hospital, you contribute your time and skills for the good of our patients; you also become a vital and valued part of our Hospital community.
