Reports and Data

The Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Family Assistance always welcomes comments on the NH State Plan for the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. Please direct comments to: Colleen McKinlay, TANF Program Specialist, or (603) 271-9325

In August of 2013, DHHS surveyed a group of providers who provide services to NH Child Care Scholarship families, to help determine the affordability of child care for TANF participants. The survey results, along with additional information, resulted in this report, showing child care remains out of reach for many TANF families, despite their access to the scholarship program.
