711 REPLACING EBT CARDS OR PINS SR 17-09, 01/17 (FSM-A)

Replacement Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards are mailed to a Food Stamp household or the District Office within two business days following the household’s report of a lost, stolen, or damaged EBT card.

An immediate hold is placed on the Food Stamp household’s EBT account at the time the household reports the need for an EBT card replacement.

If an EBT cardholder forgets their PIN, the cardholder should call EBT Customer Service or go to their local District Office to change it because no one else will know the PIN.
