419.09 Revision of Protected Resources, Spousal Share, and Spousal Allowance (MAM)

Recalculate the community spouse's protected resource amount, the spousal share, or the spousal allowance during the first year of eligibility only if one of the following situations occur:

. A new community spouse protected resource amount is set by a court support order;

. Inaccurate information was provided when the spousal share was computed for the first period of institutionalization; or

. based on the findings of an administrative appeal through the Administrative Appeals Unit (AAU).
