Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announces that its Rochester District Office, located at 150 Wakefield Street, Rochester, New Hampshire, is closed until further notice. The City of Rochester has closed the entire building due to concerns over snow overload on the roof and potential structural problems. Staff at the Rochester District Office have been relocated to other DHHS office sites around the State.

“The safety and well being of our clients and staff are our primary concern. The Rochester District Office will be closed until we are notified that the facility is safe,” said DHHS Associate Commissioner Mary Ann Cooney. "We are making every effort to ensure that services continue with a minimum of disruption."

Phones at the District Office are being redirected to the Seacoast District Office. Individuals who have concerns may also call Client Services at 271-9700. Clients with paperwork may drop it off at any DHHS District Office that is convenient for them or they may mail it to the:
