Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has announced that Heather Moquin, RN, BS, NHA, has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of New Hampshire Hospital. “Heather has been a tremendous asset to me and the entire Hospital team during her time as COO,” said Commissioner Shibinette. “Her understanding of the hospital’s operations and her deep clinical experience make her ideally suited to be the next CEO. Ms. Moquin has 25 years of clinical and operational experience in New Hampshire. She has worked in healthcare since beginning her career as an LNA in 1989. Prior to joining New Hampshire Hospital, Ms. Moquin held positions as a Nursing Home Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Clinical Services Director at nursing facilities in the State. She began her career as a Registered Nurse with the Merrimack County Nursing Home. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science-Healthcare Management from Granite State College and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Ms. Moquin is currently enrolled in an MBA program at Plymouth State University.

“I am honored to be named the next CEO of New Hampshire Hospital,” Ms. Moquin said. “Lori has established a great leadership team that has implemented new programs to ensure high-quality clinical care and community connections to help our residents succeed while they are in our care and thrive when they return home. I look forward to working with my great colleagues to continue our commitment to helping people when they most need it.”

Ms. Moquin’s tenure as CEO took effect on February 1, 2020. New Hampshire Hospital is a 168-bed facility that provides acute, inpatient psychiatric services for children and adults needing active treatment and other essential supports within a continuum of community-based care.
