Granite Advantage logoOn January 1, 2019, the New Hampshire Health Protection Program (NHHPP)/Premium Assistance Program (PAP) becomes the Granite Advantage Health Care Program. Through Granite Advantage, thousands of Granite Staters are eligible to receive coverage at little or no cost to them.

Who may be eligible for coverage through Granite Advantage?

Coverage through the Granite Advantage Program is available to Granite Staters who:

  • Are 19-64 years old
  • Are not eligible for or enrolled in Medicare
  • Are not in any traditional Medicaid mandatory eligibility group
  • Are not pregnant at the time of application
  • Have monthly household incomes that are at or below 133% of the Federal Poverty Level*

*Program eligibility is made up of many factors. Apply through nheasy.nh.gov for a comprehensive eligibility determination. Once eligibility has been established, Community Engagement becomes a requirement for continued eligibility. Unless exempt, Granite Advantage members will have to participate in 100 hours of community engagement activities each month

How can I apply for coverage?

There are four ways to apply for coverage under the Granite Advantage Program:

  1. Online: visit nheasy.nh.gov
    Hours: 6:00AM and 12:00AM (midnight) 7 days a week
  2. Visit a DHHS District Office or download an application from our website
  3. Visit a ServiceLink Center for help, by contacting a local office for an appointment.
  4. The ACA Marketplace: Go online and sign up.
