Hospice Care Exemption to 3-Month Provider-Patient Relationship
Written Certification for the Therapeutic Use of Cannabis
has been updated to reflect a recent law change (SB 384, Laws of 2018) that creates an exemption to the requirement for a 3-month relationship between a patient and the patient’s certifying medical provider. A 3-month provider-patient relationship is not required if the patient is enrolled in hospice care or is eligible for hospice care.
