Medicaid Dental Services: New Hampshire Smiles Program for Children

Information and resources for the New Hampshire Smiles Program, connecting parents to Medicaid Dental Services for their children

Did you know that regular visits to the dentist every six months can help keep your child healthy? Cavities can cause children pain and problems, even problems with eating and talking. If your child receives NH Medicaid benefits and you need help finding a NH Medicaid dentist, contact the NH DHHS Customer Service Center toll-free at 1-844-ASK-DHHS (1-844-275-3447) (TDD Relay Access: 1-800-735-2964), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. We would be happy to assist you in finding a Medicaid enrolled dentist or answering your questions about your dental bill or benefits.

Need help with transportation to your child's dental appointment?  Contact CTS at 1-844-259-4780 if your child is enrolled in Medicaid Fee For Service, or contact your Medicaid Health Plan if your child is enrolled in managed care.

If you do not have a phone or would like to mail your request for dental assistance, mail to:

NH DHHS, Medicaid

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The children’s dental benefit is for ages birth to 21.
