Data Analytics
Data Analytics assists other parts of the Department of Health and Human Services with performing their function by analyzing data and making sense of that information.
The Data Analytics Unit is responsible for providing expertise to DHHS programs for the management and use of analytic data; oversight and development of Medicaid Managed Care encounter, Comprehensive Healthcare Information System, Phoenix (community mental health system) data systems; providing ongoing and ad hoc reporting from these systems; oversight and development of and management and monitoring of Medicaid Managed Care quality data; assisting with Medicaid Managed Care finance and policy development; management of the Electronic Health Record Incentive Program; and performance reporting for Medicaid transformation waivers.
