EFFECTIVE DATE:

SUMMARY

This SR releases technical revisions to:

·   Form 763, TANF Real Property Disposal and Reimbursement Agreement;

·   Form 819, TANF Unemployed Parent (TANF-UP) Worksheet; and

·   the forms respective instructions.

There are no policy changes associated with these revisions.

FORM REVISIONS

Form 763, TANF Real Property Disposal and Reimbursement Agreement, is used to meet state rules that allow:

·   provisional payments to be made to TANF financial assistance cases with excess real property resources, provided that the applicant agrees to dispose of the real property; and

·   Departmental reimbursement for cash assistance provided to TANF financial assistance cases during the disposal period.

Form 819, TANF Unemployed Parent (TANF-UP) Worksheet, is used primarily as a back-up form in case of system failure or power outage, to determine if the initial deprivation requirement of unemployment is met for a TANF Unemployed Parent case.

Revisions to Forms 763, 819, and their respective instructions were technical in nature and include:

·   title corrections to reflect organizational changes within DHHS (e.g., the term "Office of Economic Services" was replaced with the term "Division of Family Assistance"); and

·   minor reformatting of current text to enhance readability.

IMPLEMENTATION

District Offices may continue using the current version of Forms 763 and 819 until stocks are depleted. At that time, the revised version of Form 819 released by this SR may be ordered through the normal ordering methods. Form 763, however, will not be printed or retained in stock due to its infrequent use. District Offices must photocopy a small supply of Form 763 and retain a clean original for future photocopying.
