SUMMARY

This SR releases new Form 77t, Want to Make your Dreams Come True?, and its instructions. Form 77t is a client pamphlet that describes the Individual Development Account (IDA) Savings Program.

BACKGROUND

The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund (NHCLF), the organization that manages the NH IDA program, provided the initial distribution of these pamphlets as part of an agreement with DHHS. Future distribution of the client pamphlet is the responsibility of the Department.

NEW FORM 77t AND ITS INSTRUCTIONS

Form 77t, Want to Make Your Dreams Come True?, is a two-sided, bi-fold pamphlet designed by the NHCLF to inform clients of the opportunity to increase and improve their family’s financial stability through the Individual Development Account (IDA) program. IDA’s are dedicated savings accounts, similar in structure to IRA’s, which may only be used towards the following "qualified" purposes:

· purchasing a first home;

· financing post-secondary education; or

· financing a new business.

See SR 01-33, dated 12/01, for further information about the IDA program.

Provide Form 77t as needed or whenever it is requested and use the pamphlet as a basis of discussion regarding support services and programs available to clients.

IMPLEMENTATION

Continue providing the current "Want to Make Your Dreams Come True?" pamphlet to clients as needed or requested until stocks are depleted. At that time, order Form 77t using standard forms ordering procedures.

CLIENT NOTIFICATION

No special client notification is planned or needed.

TRAINING

No training is planned or necessary.
