SUMMARY
This SR releases Form 18, APTD Application Acknowledgment Letter, which notifies APTD applicants that the District Office has completed its review of financial and technical eligibility portion of their application and has sent it on to for medical review. It also releases Form 18(i), Instructions.
POLICY
There is no policy associated with this Form release. The purpose of the letter is to notify the applicant of the status of their APTD application and thereby decrease the number of individual inquiries to District Office and State Office staff. The letter will be sent as soon as an applicant has successfully met program income and resource criteria and the case technician has forwarded their application to the Department's medical staff for disability evaluation.
PROCEDURES
No special procedures are involved with this Form.
CLIENT NOTIFICATION
No client notification is required.
TRAINING
No training is planned due to the procedural nature of this SR.
