155.03 Termination at Redetermination (AAM)

Previous Policy

 

Financial assistance will be terminated when any of the following apply:

the individual is participating in the mail-in redetermination process and fails to return a completed BFA Form 800R, Application for Continued Eligibility for Financial, Medical, Child Care and Food Stamp Benefits or:

       Complete and return BFA Form 771A, Nursing Facility Care Renewal;

       Individual is participating in the online redetermination process and fails to complete the online Redetermination Application without good cause;

       Individual no longer meets eligibility criteria; 

       Individual is participating in the in-person, phone or video redetermination process, and has not completed an application (BFA Form 800, Application for Assistance or BFA Form 800HR) or voice recorded signature and fails to:

-       attend the scheduled interview appointment; or

-       contact DHHS to reschedule an appointment.

•     the individual fails or refuses to appear for a redetermination interview, if required (see PART 155, REDETERMINATION).
