DESCRIPTION OF REVISIONS MADE TO POLICY MANUALS

The above manual pages have been updated. The updates include:

·         Removing the word “Recertification” from the AAM and FAM policy manuals as they have “Redeterminations” and not “Recertifications”;

·         Updating the website address;

·         Updating and adding references to citations;

·         Replacing DFA with BFA;

·         Replacing TANF with FANF;

·         Replacing Food Stamps with SNAP;

·         Removing medical information from the AAM that is already in the MAM;

·         Adding terminology to include “Phone” as an option for an initial interview, recertification or redetermination;

·         Adding language regarding the “ebtEDGE” app for clients to utilize to freeze or replace their EBT Cards;

·         Updating Division of Child Support Services to Bureau of Child Support Services;

·         Updating language and making general grammar edits for readability;

·         Deleted manual page “301.05 Recertification” entirely from the Family Assistance Manual.

DISPOSITION

This SR may be destroyed or deleted after its contents have been noted and the revised manual topics released by this SR have been posted to the Online Manuals.

DISTRIBUTION

This SR will be distributed according to the electronic distribution list for BFA policy releases. This SR, and revised Online Manuals, will be available for agency staff in the Online Manual Library, and for public access on the Internet at https://www.dhhs.nh.gov/sr_htm/sr.htm, effective February 1, 2023.
