911.01 Late Requests for Redetermination (FAM)

SR 23-04 Dated 02/23

Previous Policy

___________________________________________________________

If the individual fails to complete the redetermination process within the certification period, child care eligibility terminates and the family must reapply for child care. Treat an application that is completed after the current certification period the same as a new application in determining eligibility. If the family is determined eligible, the new eligibility period begins on the day the application is received or the child care provider link begin date. The child(ren) is subject to the wait list, if one is in effect.

If the redetermination process is completed within 30 calendar days following the certification period, a new Form 1863, Child Care Provider Verification, is not required unless there is a change in the child care provider information.
