DHHS Division of Public Health Services Offices Closed to the Public from March 11-18 Due to Construction

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Public Health Services (DPHS) offices located at 29 Hazen Drive in Concord, NH, are scheduled to temporarily relocate between March 11-18 due to construction work onsite and will be closed for in-person public visits.

The New Hampshire Public Health Laboratories will remain open. Anyone who needs to drop off samples at the laboratories between March 11-18 should enter the building through the entrance for Central Receiving, located across from the Department of Motor Vehicles parking lot.

DHHS regrets any inconvenience this short-term disruption may cause and looks forward to welcoming Granite Staters back to 29 Hazen Drive after reopening. During the closure, all DPHS programs aside from the laboratories will not be available to the public for in-person services and the reception area in the main lobby of 29 Hazen Drive will not be staffed by DPHS. Staff who are displaced by the construction will continue their work from other locations.

Programs temporarily unavailable for in-person services at 29 Hazen Drive from March 11-18 will include, among others:

  • Maternal & Child Health
  • Healthy Homes & Environment
  • Therapeutic Cannabis Program
  • Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC)
  • Food Protection

Other than in-person visits, services for these programs will continue as normal in an alternative location. During this time, residents in need of services should contact DPHS at 603-271-4501 or 1-800-852-3345, ext. 4501 (in-state only). For a list of specific DPHS programs and contacts, please visit the Public Health Services Contact Directory on the DHHS website.
