DESCRIPTION OF REVISIONS MADE TO POLICY MANUALS

The above manual pages have been updated. The updates include:

• Removing the word “redermination” from the FSM policy manual as SNAP has “recertifications”, not “redeterminations”;

• Updating the website address and phone number;

• Updating and adding references and citations;

• Replacing DFA with BFA;

• Replacing TANF with FANF;

• Replacing Food Stamps with SNAP;

• Adding terminology to include “Phone” as an option for an initial interview and recertification;

• Adding language regarding the “ebtEDGE” app for clients to utilize to freeze or replace their EBT Cards;

• Updating language and making general grammatical and formatting edits for readability;

• Clarified the language regarding verification of identity for expedited SNAP on FSM manual page 125.13.

DISPOSITION

This SR may be destroyed or deleted after its contents have been noted and the revised manual topics released by this SR have been posted to the Online Manuals.

DISTRIBUTION

This SR will be distributed according to the electronic distribution list for BFA policy releases. This SR, and revised Online Manuals, will be available for agency staff in the Online Manual Library, and for public access on the Internet at https://www.dhhs.nh.gov/sr_htm/sr.htm, effective April 3, 2023.
