988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline - Veterans Crisis Line

The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans and Service members in crisis and their families and friends with information and specially trained professionals This free, confidential service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The person does NOT have to be registered with the VA. Some of the crisis line responders are Veterans themselves.

American Red Cross Services for Military & Veteran Families

The American Red Cross provides 24/7 global emergency communication services and other support in military and veteran health care facilities across the country and around the world.

NH State Veterans Cemetery

Cemetery for eligible veterans and their eligible dependents. There is no State of New Hampshire residency requirement.

NH Veterans Home

NHVH is a state long-term (custodial) care facility providing a range of nursing services from care for those who need minimal assistance to those who need total and end-of-life care.   NHVH offers a full range of services including: residential, medical and nursing care, physical and occupational therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, spiritual care, dietetic and social services. Chapel services, exercise groups, art studio, shopping trips, a library with Internet access, barber and hairdresser services, community outings, live entertainment, and activities sponsored by veterans' service organizations are available.

NH Division of Veteran Services

The Division of Veterans Services (NHDVS) assists veterans who are residents of New Hampshire or their dependents in securing all benefits or preferences to which they may be entitled under any state or federal laws or regulations. NHOVS advocates for veterans and helps veterans navigate federal and state systems including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

VAMC Manchester proudly serves veterans at the main medical center and four community-based outpatient clinics.

Veterans Administration Medical Center - White River Junction

The VA Medical Center (VAMC) at White River Junction, VT is a member of the VA New England Healthcare System (VA NEHS). It delivers quality health care to eligible Veterans in Vermont and 5 neighboring counties in New Hampshire (Cheshire, Grafton, Sullivan, Coos and Carroll). Healthcare services are provided and coordinated from its main campus at White River Junction, VT and five Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Bennington, Colchester, Rutland, Brattleboro VT, and Littleton, NH. The Medical Center also has an Outreach Clinic in Newport, VT.
