Information and resources for the BDS System Work Public Information Sessions
Throughout the months of May and June, the Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS) and Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) conducted regional meetings with individuals receiving services and families. These forums were hosted by Family Support Councils and area agencies. BDS shared information about the BDS Systems Work including why BDS believes the Systems Work changes will improve services for individuals and families. These times provided an opportunity for families to ask BDS direct questions about the work!
Families provided great insights into how supports and services are being used today, challenges in the current service delivery system and opportunities for the future.
As part of the BDS System Work, the Bureau of Developmental Services will be hosting a series of Information Sessions. We will convene virtually on the first Thursday of every other month! This will be a time for the Developmental Services community to ask learn and ask questions about how changes to the waivers, rates, and technology might impact them. Please feel free to share information about these Information Sessions with individuals who you think would be interested in attending.

At least 5 business days advance notice is requested in order to assure availability; requests made fewer than 5 days prior to the event will attempt to be accommodated but cannot be guaranteed.
