Long Term Care - Strike Grant

New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services (NH DPHS) received an award of approximately $2.6 million divided equally between Skilled Nursing Facilities and Other Long-Term Care Facilities, through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, P.L. 117-2 and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC’s) Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement (CK19-1904).

  • The intention of this funding is to assist recipients support long-term care facilities during their response to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID) infections, while building and maintaining the infection prevention framework required to support resident’s, visitor’s and facility healthcare personnel’s safety.
  • Through this funding, the HAI Program provides in-person and remote support to implement and improve infection prevention and control practices. These efforts include supplying technology resources, N95 Fit Testing supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE) and educational/workforce development and outreach.
