The Juvenile Justice Reform Commission’s Subcommittee on Ethnic and Racial Disparities would like to invite New Hampshire’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion; Racial and Ethnic Disparities; and Juvenile Justice involved teams to quarterly networking forums. These quarterly forums are intended to foster collaboration between agencies and teams in New Hampshire who are working on common goals.
The group mission is to prevent the disproportionate entrance into the juvenile justice system of any underrepresented population, ensure equal access to programs and treatment for all populations, and ensure equal opportunities for all youth involved in the juvenile justice system regardless of race, gender, identity, sex, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
To kickoff the quarterly networking forums the Ethnic and Racial Disparities Subcommittee is hosting introductions with a structured youth panel and parent panel. The group hopes to empower everyone by harnessing empathy for the important work all teams are engaged in. Light refreshments will be provided. Based upon limited spacing we ask that each agency/team select 1-2 members to attend the networking forum. Vital information on each agency/team’s goals and purpose and representation will be collected through the registration process and shared at the forum.
Feel free to share this opportunity.
