Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services announces the resignation of Brady Serafin, Director of Operations of the Sununu Youth Services Center (SYSC) and Chief of the Bureau of Family, Community, and Program Supports in the Division for Children, Youth and Families. Mr. Serafin, who has led SYSC for the past 2 ½ years, has accepted a new professional opportunity outside of New Hampshire.

“Brady recently informed me that he has accepted a new professional opportunity, which is in his and his family’s best interests,” said DHHS Commissioner Jeffrey A. Meyers. “Brady has served the Department with distinction. He has championed the people who work at SYSC and the youth they serve. I am grateful for his steady leadership and on behalf of everyone at DHHS, I wish Brady and his family the very best in their move.”

In the coming weeks, Commissioner Meyers and DCYF Director Joe Ribsam will determine interim leadership at SYSC and the Bureau of Family, Community, and Program Supports. A search for a new permanent SYSC Director and Bureau Chief will begin immediately.
