We are an accredited State of NH specialty hospital that serves the acute psychiatric and substance related disorder needs of children, adolescents, and young adults.

We know how stressful it is for individuals and their families struggling with mental health and substance related disorders. At Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility, we are committed to helping you and your family get the help you need, when you need it. The primary goal of hospitalization is to stabilize patients with extremely challenging psychiatric, behavioral, or substance related disorders and facilitate a rapid return to their pre-hospital living situation.

Our beautiful setting, in rural southern New Hampshire, is the perfect place to begin the healing process. Located on 100 acres of rolling hills, woodlands and landscaped grounds, Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility is less than one hour from Boston and the Seacoast. We are easily accessible by Interstates 93, 495, and 95.

Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility accepts psychiatric admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Psychiatric evaluations are completed on site. Most major insurances are accepted. Our Admissions Department is happy to guide you through this process.
