Immunization Guidance for Travelers

When traveling to different countries, plan on addressing your health needs at least two months before you leave.

Contact your primary care provider or a NH certified travel clinic to find out what immunizations you will need.

Remember to pack these important items:

  • Prescription medications
  • Over-the-counter medications you usually take
  • Health insurance ID

Food and water precautions:

  • Drink only bottled water or boiled water.
  • Only eat food that is fully cooked.

Before you travel, make sure you and your children are up to date on your regular immunizations.

Healthcare Providers: If you’re interested in being a Yellow Fever Vaccination Provider, please contact the Immunization Program at 603-271-4482 or email immunization@dhhs.nh.gov.
